Create an ABC ID Card (Students)
Students have a few ways to make their ABC ID. Here, we show each step to help you create your ABC ID.
Create an ABC ID card through Digilocker.
- To make an ABC ID, go to the digilocker.gov.in website.
- If you are new, click on the Sign Up button. If you already have an account, just type in your details and click the Sign In button.
First, log in to Digilocker. Then find the Search Documents section. Next look for Academic Bank of Credits. Finally click on the APAAR/ABC ID Card.
Now, you need to fill in your personal and school information here.

- After you fill in all the information check the box that says you agree. Then, click the Get Document button.

You can also use the ABC official website portal for ABC card creation. Here is the step-by-step procedure:
Step 1: Go to the official website of ABC ID https://www.digilocker.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the My Account icon on the right top side of the screen.
Step 3: Now sign in if you already have an account and if not, then click on the student button.
Step 4: Enter your phone number for OTP verification.
Step 5: Now verify OTP and fulfill all the personal details asked.
Step 6: Now enter your Adhaar card for KYC verification.
Step 7: Select your institute and admission year details and click on the submit button.
How to download an ABC ID card?
By following this 5-step simple procedure, you can easily download Apaar ID,
